We’ve received lots of feedback from our customers (thanks for that!) about how to improve the email workflow in Fileboard. The #1 challenge was the inability to browse Fileboard while composing an email or scheduling a meeting. Doing so would cause you to lose your email and have to start over.
Our product team has been working hard to turn your feedback into a new email and scheduled meeting workflow, which we believe will greatly improve your productivity. Here’s a quick overview:
Compose email / scheduled meeting in a popup
When you compose a new email or a new schedule meeting, that editor will now open in a popup (don’t worry, it won’t trigger pop-up blockers), which you can drag around, minimize and maximize.

Browse during compose without losing your message
Our favorite new feature is the ability to keep browsing within Fileboard while composing an email or a scheduled meeting.
Want to reference some engagement stats while composing an email? Or want to check if attendees are coming online while you’re emailing them during a live meeting? No problem! Simply drag the composer around, navigate to where you need to go, and never lose your message again.

Attach files
We’ve made attaching files more natural, making it exactly the same as you’re used to with Outlook, Gmail or Apple Mail. Just click the attach file button to open the file browser and select the file you want. The file is still converted to a trackable file link after you send your email.

Scheduling emails
From the popup composer you can simply schedule the email for sending later.

More to come
We’re still working on the composer to make it even more awesome. Check back soon for upcoming features including Bcc and a spam checker.
We hope you love this new email workflow as much as we do and we hope it greatly improves your Fileboard experience. If you have questions or feedback don’t hesitate to contact us!
